Opening Keynote Speaker

Greg Harris, President and CEO of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH will be our opening keynote speaker on Tuesday, October 17.  Greg Harris is in his fifth year as President and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Museum is 22 years old and has welcomed 12 million visitors and had an economic impact of $2 billion to the region.  Harris joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008, and oversaw development, special events, membership, board relations and government affairs. As CEO, Harris has guided the organization through an era of unprecedented  transformation with a focus on innovation and customer engagement.  Under his leadership the Museum has grown attendance and revenue by double digits by executing on a strong strategic plan and focusing on the mission to engage, teach and inspire through the power of rock and roll. 

Keynote Speaker

Dale Dougherty, founder and CEO of Make Media and publisher of Make Magazine, is the keynote speaker on Wednesday, October 18. He has been called the “godfather of the Maker movement”, having founded both the magazine and the first Maker Faire in 2006. Dale was instrumental in launching the Maker movement which is reshaping science and technology education and creating unprecedented economic opportunity for young people and a renaissance in urban manufacturing.
