If you fly and would like to carpool from the Reno airport to Carson City, please email tammywestergard@yahoo.com | November 5, 6 & 7 from the campus of Carson City’s Brewery Arts Center the Nevada Library Association (NLA) will gather members for its 75th annual meeting. The conference program features acclaimed mediator, and Washoe County Neighborhood Mediation Center Executive Director Mark Batson Baril. The Nevada Library Association’s 75th Annual Meeting begins at 6 pm with a welcome reception on Sunday, November 5 at the Carson City Library. Continuing through the 7th additional highlights include Public Library Trustee training, more than 20 robust sessions on a wide range of topics and annual awards including the 2023 Librarian of the Year. Also, in honor of 75 years of Nevada librarianship, the President’s events feature will include free tickets to a NLA benefit concert for paid conference attendees featuring Margo Cilker & An American Forrest.
